Purpose
The California 21st Century High School After School Safety and Enrichment Program for Teens (ASSETs) is part of a statewide effort to address the underachievement of California youth by providing opportunities for academic enrichment, homework centers, family literacy services and a range of cultural, developmental and recreational opportuniites in a safe environment after school hours.
Valley High School is one of four high schools in the Elk Grove Unified School District participating in this program which provides academic support and safe, constructive alternatives for high school students in the hours before and after the regular school day.
Academic Courses for Credit
To sign up for a zero or eighth period class, make an appointment with your counselor or see Mrs. Caruthers in the front office. If you need assistance with RT transportation see Mrs. Caruthers for a single-use RT bus pass.
