Mayor Johnson's High School Volunteer Challenge
Audience: Homepage and Homepage

Kevin Johnson, the Major of Sacramento, has challenged  the  students of Valley High School  to volunteer in the Greater Sacramento Area.   He further challenges us to log in 500,000 total hours of service by the end of 2009 and put Sacramento on the map as the #1 service city in California. The winning high school will receive a school rally and a distinguished award presented by the major and “special guests.” Top volunteers will also be invited to the Volunteer Sacramento celebration scheduled for January 20th, 2010.
