Responsibilities of the National JROTC Program
- Develop policies and procedures for the day-to-day operation of the program
- Establish standards for unit operations, instructor qualifications and cadet performance
- Open and close units
- Screen, approve and certify instructors
- Provide equipment, supplies and uniforms
- Pay operating costs and cost-share instructor salaries
- Provide the curriulum
